"It was the year 2000 when the Moto Club Umbria organised the first 'Rally of the Umbria'. Many editions have passed and the rally has evolved from a competitive race to an "Adventouring" event, but at the helm there has always been a great visionary, Filippo Ceccucci, an enormous connoisseur of the area, a great off-road enthusiast and madly in love with driving with a roadbook. In the run-up to the next edition, which will take place from Perugia on 21-23 April, we were able to interview the "patron" Ceccucci, who told us about the history of this event, the new projects, the relationship with the institutions, and finally a hint of another event eagerly awaited by off-road enthusiasts: the "Anabasi 300".
