For the 2026 edition, the fifteenth Rally dell'Umbria, registrations closed in forty-eight hours, a new record that gratifies us immensely and, as always, spurs us on to better understand our participants and their desires.<\/p>\n

For an organiser, it is also an important moment to make decisions because the Rally dell'Umbria will take place from 23 to 26 April and there is still time to do well, to do better!<\/p>\n

After considerable effort to develop an efficient IT system, it is now able to provide us with data that we are pleased to share.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The first piece of data that gives us great satisfaction is the origin of participants: the 2025 Rally recorded a perfect balance between Italian and foreign participants (49.8%), while for the 2026 edition, there has been a clear shift (63.1%).<\/p>

We will continue to strive to have all our materials translated and interpreters available in the secretariat!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Roadbook paper<\/strong>That 8% is our stronghold, our pride and joy: they use a simple, effective, romantic and timeless device, namely Rally instrumentation, which consists of a motorised roadbook holder and one or two trip masters.
They are highly experienced navigators who know and love their craft, and they flock to the Umbria Rally because they find a hand-drawn roadbook that is precise and inimitable (but also beautiful!).<\/p>\n

Navirally Tablet<\/strong>: we believed in it and we are proud of it this app<\/a>, which started out big and which we hope to have helped develop and spread: it is simple, intuitive and allows you to experience the thrill of navigation with the security of being able to refer at any time to the more tedious but intuitive gpx track. Tablet for track navigation<\/strong>There are many apps available, and we use several of them (but not for navigating roadbooks). There are various devices available, such as tablet or smartphone<\/a>... more versatile than ever, they even allow you to change your mind because, after all, Navirally is free!<\/p>\n

Outdoor Devices<\/strong>Are they on their way out? They are no longer accurate (quite the contrary), they are expensive and not very versatile. Hence the conclusions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
